This is the perfect add on when sightseeing in the Golden Circle. 

Buggy Adventure in The Golden Circle 


You will meet at the basecamp located right in the middle of the Golden Circle, 5 minutes from 

 Here you will get all the gear necessary for the tour like cold weather suits, helmets and boots. 




You will head out of the basecamp towards Haukadalur valley, and further up to the Highlands where you can enjoy breathtaking views of 

 and skjaldbreid volcano. On the way you'll be driving fast through rugged Icelandic terrain crossing rivers, bumpy roads and climbing hills. Be prepared to get wet and dirty. 



After the tour we recommend enjoying a nice meal at the basecamp bistro.

. It's located 5 minutes from Geysir hot spring right in the middle of the Golden Circle. 

It's approximately 119 km or 74 miles from Reykjavik city center. 

We kindly ask you to be at the meeting point 20 minutes prior to the tour start.

Why book with Hot Sheep

A valid drivers license is needed to operate a buggy. If you don't have your drivers license on hand, you will be asked to sign a document stating that you truly have one. 



Please note that the standard price is for adults sharing a buggy (shared ride). If you want to ride solo you have to book a single rider. If you are booking for an adult and a child you will book one adult shared ride and one child shared ride. 

The operator reserves the right to alter itineraries with your safety in mind. If the weather conditions are dangerous, the tour may be moved or cancelled. If the tour gets cancelled by the operator, you will receive a full refund. 

Important information

The tour cancellation policy is set by the tour operator.

All cancellations need to be made via email or confirmed with the operator directly, their information can be found on the top right side of your ticket.

Please note that in any special circumstances, the operator has the final say on refund matters. We will have to comply with their decision.



Cancellations by customers have to be made with 24 hours or more notice to be eligible for a refund. A cancellation fee of 100% will be charged if the tour is canceled with less than 24 hours notice.
